A LITTLE INFORMATION ABOUT SIZES, MEASURING, AND ORDERING

Our resawn wood product is made from our high-quality, reclaimed barn wood siding. To make our resawn product easy to install we slice it to an average thickness of 3/8” inch (give or take a 1/16“) and straight-line it. This minimizes the bowing, cupping, and tapering common in wood products manufactured centuries ago and weathered by time.

Our resawn wood is available in 2″, 3″, 4″ and 5″ widths. Lengths will vary from 24” to 54”. Resawn wood ordered from Coast to Coast Barnwood will be shipped in the specified width in a variety of lengths between 24″ and 54″. We do this to reduce waste and also provide the smaller pieces needed to start a row or fill a gap.

Our product is naturally aged and weathered real wood. Coast to Coast Barnwood makes every effort to ensure a quality-consistent product but Mother Nature makes every effort to create unique variability. While all sales are final, in the rare case a piece is not usable we will replace it free of charge. Just give us a call, send us a few pictures of the piece to be replaced, and we’ll get right on it.

You can order packs individually to meet your total square footage needs, or you can purchase our product in the colors you need, and we can put packs together for you.

We recommend starting projects by planning the widths needed. Looking at the wall or project as a whole, decide what widths will be used then decide in what percentages. Will the whole project be 3″ boards? Are 4″ or 5″ boards part of the look? If so, in what percentage? 20%? 30%? With the total square footage of the project and the percentages of each width of board, ordering wood becomes easy. Team members from Coast to Coast Barnwood are always available to assist.

Our resawn wood packs are available in two (2) color variations, Rustic Brown, and our Tobacco Grey.
